In India the Bollywood film industry makes over 1000 films each year! We have just discovered the Bollywood Trail in Scotland which shows all the romantic film locations. Hope to take some film buffs there soon as Scotland has some of the world's most romantic castles, scenery and dance locations. Scotland has become more popular for filming over recent years. Braveheart in 1995 gave a huge boost to the National Wallace Monument, while more recently the filming of Outlander has added visitor numbers to the featured Doune castle as well as many more places in Scotland.
Drummond Castle Gardens have recently been used as the amazing background to a major Indian blockbuster. Why not visit them on one of our 2016 tours.
A Scottish classic from the 1950's, Whisky Galore, has recently been filmed at the historic fishing port of Buckie in the north-east of Scotland. we are looking forward to the premiere of that film too!
