Travel north to pass the mighty Stirling Castle and enjoy a visit to Doune Castle. Amazing Castle Leoch in the famous TV series Outlander. Explore the peaceful walkways along the River Teith nearby, before continuing the journey through Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park into the West Highlands.
Continue through the desolate Rannoch Moor and by Glen Etive to admire the simply stunning Glen Coe and enjoy a short walk.
Explore the shops and cafes of Fort William or enjoy watching the boats navigate the famous Neptune’s Staircase. See the amazing Jacobite relics in the award winning West Highland Museum.

Continue along the same route as the West Highland Railway line to take the spectacular ferry journey through the Sound of Sleat and arrive on the Isle of Skye at Armadale. Explore the beautiful historic gardens with stunning views, the ruined castle and perhaps the excellent award winning, Museum of the Isles.
Enjoy a short hike in Sligachan Glen admiring the magnificent Cuillin Mountains on both sides of the pass. Option to enjoy a beach walk on the stunning Coral Beach in the north of the island if time permits.
Explore the Isle of Skye and see the wild mountains that dominate the island before heading to the colourful and picturesque capital of Skye, Portree.

Leave the island via the Skye Bridge and stop for a visit to the romantic Eilean Donan Castle through the highlands before reaching Loch Ness for a chance to look for Nessie! Explore Castle Urquhart on the banks of Loch Ness - a popular viewing point with lots to explore including a climb up the Grant Tower.
Journey to Inverness, capital of the Highlands with a stroll along the beautiful River Ness, and some time for the shops and cafes in the city centre.

Journey south through the mountains of the Cairngorms National Park to Pitlochry or the charming village of Dunkeld, for a wander around this picturesque conservation village with a medieval cathedral and Georgian Bridge on the River Tay.
Enjoy a delightful walk through the tall Douglas Firs to the stunning and surprising Ossian’s Hall.
