Best Private Tours of Scotland

Yes, we have finished another great season of tours. We are delighted that all our reviews for 2018 have been 5* so we know our guests have been very happy indeed. It is very difficult to choose our own highlights as there were so many great days across our beautiful Scotland.

Of course we visited the Isle of Skye more than once! We enjoyed the Cuillin Mountains, the whisky tour and tasting at Talisker and the stunning hiking to the Old Man of Storr with Charles and Chantal from Canada. We had a wonderful walk in Sligachan Glen with David and Penny from Melbourne then learnt about this amazing place at the excellent Museum of the Isles.

We also explored some of the Inner Hebirdean Isles and enjoyed three trips to  the Isle of Mull and the beautiful isle of Iona. The Abbey is always a special experience and the ferry over the Sound of Iona is definitely a fun trip - whatever the weather. We travelled in an early summer heatwave to the stunning white sand of Calgary Beach on the north coast of Mull and enjoyed the bustling Tobemory with fish and chips on the pier at the harbour.

Our guests enjoyed wonderful Scottish hospitality at small family owned Bed and Breakfasts and also at the luxurious castles and hotels where  fine dining experiences were on offer every night!  Some of these special places to stay were even captured on film for showing the folks back home.

Of course we enjoy meeting our guests who come from all over the world. This year was no exception with people on tour from Canada, US, Australia, New Zealand, Sweden, Estonia, India and many others. All ofour guests were looking for a Scottish adventure and with a Sublime Scotland private tour they certainly had an adventure. Coastal walks to cliff top castles such as Dunnottar Castle in Aberdeenshire or Tantallon and Dirleton Castle on the south coast of East Lothian near Edinburgh.
