We have been busy over the winter researching new private guided tours for 2019. Top of the list is the new world class V&A Dundee. In a stunning setting overlooking the River Tay, you will explore the everyday relevance of design and how it improves our lives, experience the processes that underpin it and discover little-known stories of Scottish design with international impact.

Dundee has always been known as the City of Discovery. Explore the amazingly restored Discovery ship which took Scott and Shackleton to the Antarctic and visit this 5* exhibition which tells the story of their courage and adventure.
The story of the Dundee is also told in the history of the Jute Industry and we will hear the people who worked in the Mills and the story of how the Jute crossed all over the world. Local volunteer guides offer private tours and explain their family history which is all linked to the Mills.
As Scotland’s 4th largest city, Dundee has much to offer the international visitor. The new V&A Dundee will bring more visitors than ever before so 2019 is a great year to visit.
